In 1981, Bill Adler was the first American designer to handcraft belts using vintage leather and metal ornaments. During the next three decades, BILL ADLER DESIGN introduced advanced leather treatments, driving an evolution in leather craftsmanship. Today, BILL ADLER DESIGN leather is drum-dyed, tumbled, and distressed. Their metal is hammered and antiqued.
