David Casavant is first a fashion enthusiast, and second, an extremely successful vintage collector and loaner of over 1000 pieces of menswear's best. He's only 25, but started amassing rare and historic pieces from iconic designer collections since he was a teenager. is now the proud owner of over 1000 vintage pieces, mostly from Raf Simons, who recently stepped down as designer of Dior, but is probably more well-known for his interpretations of youth and subculture, and Helmut Lang, whose minimalist innovations basically created a new design language in the world of fashion in the 1990s. Its aftershocks can still be felt today from anyone wearing low-rise jeans to Kanye West. Casavant regularly loans his individual pieces from his NYC-based collection to stylists and artists such as Paul McCartney, Rihanna, and Big Sean. Not too shabby, David.
